Fourth Grade Update September 20,
2006
Week 6… and a big week for the spelling lesson.
There are 70 words this week so please be sure that
your child goes over the spelling words each
evening.
We are enjoying a week of spiritual emphasis with
Pastor Angel so there is no memory verse for this
week. We use Week of Prayer in place of Bible at
this time.
If you did not receive a copy of last week’s UPDATE
or the assignment sheet for the week by email,
please let me know. I will need you to send me your
current email address. I am trying to post both of
these to the school website.
I imagine you heard about the snake we found at the
outdoor ed site on Tuesday. I’m not fond of snakes,
but that is part of outdoor
education! You can be sure I kept my eye on it!! The
baby mice are probably what it is dining on this
week.
If you want to place a book order for your child,
please make the check payable to Scholastic Book
Club. It takes about two weeks to get the order back
to us. I usually place the order on Friday…the $$
needs to accompany the order.
School books may be taken home any day.
Please be sure they are returned to school the next
day. The papers that are in the organizer need to be
kept in it until after the report card is given. You
are welcome to
look at the papers, but please return them to the
organizer.
