I came to MCE in August of
1978 and have taught grades K through 4. It was the
year the old school became the new school. We met in
the church until November 1978 and then moved into
the building that we recently moved out of. I
started at Madison teaching grade 3 and an overflow
of grade one. I stayed in grade 3 until August of
1983 when I moved to grade 4 and have been there
ever since! In the summers I enjoy looking for
bargains at yard sales and flying to Los Angeles to
visit our oldest daughter and her family. I have one
son, Ryan, who is a fifth year senior and three
married stepchildren. My husband, Don, and I live in
the country near Hendersonville.
