I am eager to begin my second year at MCE as the new 5th Grade teacher. I graduated with a B.A. in Education from Loma Linda University-La Sierra Campus and a Master’s in Education from California State University, Los Angeles. I am a K-12 Reading Specialist.
I am married to Gustavo Suarez for 23 years and we have four lovely children. Our oldest, we have “adopted” into our family. She is from Honduras and has been with us for over 7 years. We have two chidren who will be attending Southern Adventist University in the Fall, Lil’ Gus and Esperanza. We are very prould of our son, Gus, who will be finishing his degree in December as a Pre-Med Bio student. Esperanza, also a Pre-Med Bio student, will begin her third year at Southern. Sarah, our youngest will be at MCE as a 7th grader.
I love to bake, cook, camp, and entertain family and friends. I relax watching HGTV and would love to try some DYI in my new home. My “extra” time is spent on Pinterest, which I could do for hours.
I enjoy teaching because it brings me great joy knowing that I am preparing and guiding God’s children into His Kingdom. I have high expectations for my students and hold them accountable for them. I believe God has great plans for my family and I here at MCE. I can’t wait to meet my 5th graders and their families!
