MCE Uniform Policy

Enchanted threads is charging $2.50 per shirt for embroidery until January 1, 2010. 

After January 1, 2010 the price will go up to $3.00 per shirt.

Please refer to our handbook under "Dress and Grooming" for a detailed description of the uniform policy. 

The changes that are being phased in are as follows:

• 2009-2010:  Logo optional, but strongly encouraged
   
  • Old/New plaid and shirts acceptable
  • New students- new plaid/shirt colors only

• 2010-2011:   Logo as required by administration
  (may decide to require one shirt color to be embroidered)
   
  • New plaid required

   

•  2011-2012:  Logo required
   
  • New plaid required

FrenchToast.com is the official vendor for MCE school uniforms.   They will supply us with free black and white catalogues of all items that are included in our policy.  You may click on the link and enter our source code to view these items on-line.  Remember that when you purchase from them using our source code, 5% of your purchase comes back to the school.  They will perform embroidery for you there as well.

Academy Sports:

Austin brand long or short sleeve polo shirts may be purchased at Academy Sports.  Colors are navy, white, or light blue.  

Austin brand flat front shorts or long pants may be purchased at Academy Sports.

Remember that Academy sports does not carry uniform stock all year, so the best time to buy is mid July to early August.  The tax free weekend is usually around the first weekend in August.

Embroidery:

Items not embroided by FrenchToast.com may be taken to Enchanted Threads.

Enchanted Threads is located in Goodlettsville across from city hall on Dickerson Pike.  It is in a brick house on the hill behind Walgreens.  They have our logo and will apply it to any French Toast or Austin brand shirt that you bring them.  Currently the charge will be $2.50 per shirt.  Their phone number is 855-3275.
